Poems♥

This term we are doing poetry. We have already done couplet poems and alliteration. Now we are starting limerick poems. Our first activities for our poem topic were making cover pages for our anthology poems book, creating a Marrog and writing the words to go with a picture. For alliteration we had to create a poem with alliteration in it. We have done limerick poems and we had to create three limerick poems. We have recently done Haiku poems. We also had to do make up three haiku s.

New Hall!!!!

During the last Christmas holidays our new school hall started to get built. It is now term 2 and the hall is almost finished. The opening for the new hall is this Friday!!!! It is very big!! The hall is red. Its awesome!!! There is a court inside the hall!(flash!!!)

Earth Science

Recently the Accelerate Academy have been doing Earth Science. There was three different subjects. Volcanoes with Mrs Vaughan, Earthquakes with Mr Dyke and Experiments with Miss D. Doing experiments was the most fun. We got to make toffee(YUM!) We got to make the earth out of playdoh and we also got to make it out of jaffas, marshmallows and chocolate!! I also learnt earthquakes. In Mr Dykes class we learnt how earthquakes and tsunamis are caused. It was cool because I learnt alot about earthquakes that I didn't already know. In Mrs Vaughans class we learnt about volcanoes. I learnt lots about volcanoes as well. Earth Science was really fun and I learnt lots!☺

☺Science Fair☺

This term we are doing Science Fair. Me, Brooke and tamar are working on our project together. We decided to do our project on recycled paper. We are going to be making lots of different types of recycled paper. Its going to be lots of fun making our recycled paper and am looking forward to seeing all the other projects!

Speeches

This term we are doing speeches. Very scary... Im doing my speech on Spongebob!! We have to perform them tomorrow(ahhhh) They have to be three minutes long but mines only one minute long!!! Im just going to say it slower then it might be longer☺

Accelerate Museum Trip☻

Last term the Accelerate Academy went to the museum to learn more about the Mount Tarawera eruption for their topic. At the museum we watched a movie about the eruption. It was very interesting. We saw the old baths which are very old. Some people went up yo the roof and you could see all of Rotorua. It was very fun and we learnt heaps.

I have the bestist friends ever!!!!! Peta is my best, best, best, best, best(and a million more bests after that♥)friend! We have been best, best, best, best, best(and a million more bests after that♥)friends for over six years now! Me and Peta are the craziest & biggest Jonas Brothers fans ever!!!!! We love having sleepovers. Our record for staying up late is all night!!! Haha:) Peta moved to Australia earlier this year. That was REALLY sad:( She has called me twice since she moved. Bridget is my CRAZY little buddy! Haha:) Brooke is another crazy mate and shes also really fun to hang out with!!!Sam is one of my other friends. Sam is funny and cool to hang out with♥. Tamar is my CRAZY Twilight Fan mate. She is absolutely crazy about Twilight and also Edward Cullen(of course) Ella is my awesome, funny, crazy mate. Me and Ella have lots of fun and get in trouble lots for talking or being crazy!!! Lana is my other friend. She is a really good drawer and could be an artist some day!! Alisha is my other Jonas Brothers crazy fan mate. She is in a wheel Chair but shes still awesome♥ When me and Alisha are in the same room we go ABSOLUTLY loopy!!! Haha. Karen is another one of my friends. Shes really quiet but shes still awesome! My next door neighbor, Claudette is my music buddy!!! Every day after school I go to her house and we watch C4 or listen to The Edge and ZM!!!! My friends are the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!♥
